Museum Purchase, June, 2009:        The Franklin County Arts Alliance in Mt. Vernon, TX purchased one of Nel's paintings for their art museum permanent collection.  The painting, "Antiques on the Square" was painted from plein aire sketches that she did in Mt. Vernon.


She will present a demonstration for the Fort Worth Society of Watercolor Artists on Monday evening, September 20, 2010.


Nel's plein air paintings from this year's spring Southwestern Watercolor Society paint out in McKinney will be on display in a group exhibition at the Garret Gallery in McKinney,  July 10 - August 11.  There will be an opening reception from 7 to 9 at the gallery on Sat., July 10 in conjunction with McKinney's second Saturday Art Walk.  Regular hours are 10 to 5 Monday through Saturday and the gallery is located on the north side of the historic downtown square at 111 E. Virginia.
